DSA has an opening for a SharePoint Site Developer for our client in Springfield, Virginia.

Job Description:

Site developer for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 supporting multiple dispersed Army Project Management, Science & Technology, and related acquisition offices. Tasks include creation, configuration, customization, testing, and remedy of issues related to SharePoint Sites and Users’ requirements. Integrates various information systems and business processes through, and with, SharePoint Server. Works with a dispersed team of systems administrators, engineers, advanced programmers, managers, and customers. Performs duties on a normal business day schedule with some flexibility for start time. Works at a location remote from the server facility.

Required Skills:

Qualified candidate will have 2 or more years experience managing Microsoft SharePoint and/or other web portal content. 1-2 years experience implementing and administering Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007 or Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) 3.0 sites is also required for this position. Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Designer to brand, customize pages, and integrate web-parts is required. Prior experience must demonstrate proven skills with information systems. Work experience is required for interpreting user requirements and cross-functional business rules to implement and customize portal sites. Candidate must be able to articulate problems and resolution, in both verbal and written forms. Proven experience must indicate a record of information security awareness and discipline in systems administration.

Desired Skills:

Experience creating User Interfaces, WebControls.and WebParts strongly desired. Skills with Windows SharePoint Web Parts Using Visual Studio and work experience with ASP.NET 2.0 Web Parts and Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 very favorable. 2-3 years experience in configuration and administration of Microsoft Server, SQL, and IIS is also beneficial. Proven experience in national defense environment favorable.

Required/Desired Education & Certifications:

B.S. in information systems related major or 4 years equivalent experience required. Beneficial advanced certifications in one or more of the following: MCP; MCSA;. MCTS: SharePoint Server 2007, Configuration (Exam 70-630); MCTS:SharePoint Services 3.0, Configuration (Exam 70-631); MCTS: Designing a Portal Solution with Microsoft SharePoint Products and Technologies (Exam 74-132); MCTS: Customizing Portal Solutions with Microsoft SharePoint Products and Technologies (Exam 74-133)

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum: Must be able to obtain (does not have to possess)

Preferred Clearance Level: Secret
