Sterling is looking to hire a Microsoft Systems Administrator for a long term project in San Antonio, TX. Information about the role is listed below.
-Minimum of 3-5 years proven experience.
-Top Secret Clearance required.
-Solid understanding of networking principles and systems administration and the operation and functioning of personal computers, servers, operating systems software (O/S) and relational databases.
-Must have knowledge of and experience working with MS Office products.
-Experience supporting HP servers (specifically ProLiant c-Class Blade Systems) required.
-Candidate must have experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or higher operating system, as well as SQL 2000/2005/2008 server software in a clustered server environment.
-Must have knowledge and some experience in the virtual systems configuration (eg, VMWare) environment.
-Experience in a virtualized environment preferred.
