Job Description:
Teams with signals analysts and other tool developers to introduce new digital signal processing (DSP) techniques in a signals analysis lab and administer the hardware and associated Linux operating system. Responsible for troubleshooting, modifying and enhancing software tools and associated systems. The tools require using programming skills to incorporate changes, fixes, and enhancements into a heterogeneous environment.
Required Skills:
B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics plus a minimum of 2 years experience or equivalent education and experience. Must hold a TS SCI with Full Scope/Lifestyle polygraph. 2 years experience in RedHat and/or UNIX administration 2 years experience in C/C++ programming. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience documenting plans, procedures, and lessons learned . Ability to work both on a team and as an individual.
Desired Skills:
Experience meeting signals processing requirements such as the design and implementation of signal generation tools, demodulators and interference cancellers. Experience using and developing with Java, CUDA, or Python. Experience with X-Midas or M2EXTRA signal processing software. RedHat System Administration certification.
Required Education (including Major):
B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics or education may be substituted for experience. |
