| Systems Tester |
|
Be a key contributing member of a successful team developing cutting-edge wireless communication systems.
Responsibilities include:
-customer advocate testing on complex wireless communication systems
-a team player who works closely with HW and SW development teams during testing
-defining and communicating test strategies
-writing detailed test plans
-test execution
-documenting identified defects
Salary range for this position starts around the $80,000 mark. Base salary may be higher for the right candidate based on skill-set and experience. |
The Company |
This position is best filled by an engineer who has previously testing experience with cellular wireless systems, and who has previously developed/verified software/hardware for commercial communications products. Test experience should include use of test automation for testing GUI’s, and use of lab test equipment. Should be well-versed in creating detailed test plans and executing these test plans. This person must have excellent interpersonal skills that enjoys working with developers and testers alike.
Minimum experience: 3 years in system test/verification; desire 5+ years. Additional desired skill set: Technical breadth in VoIP, GPRS, ISO/OSI protocol stacks, ISDN, TCP/IP networking and cellular systems: CDMA, UMTS, GSM, and other 3G/4G wireless protocols are a plus.
The ability to obtain and hold a U.S. Government security clearance is required.
Minimum education; B.S. in a relevant technical discipline.
Must have:
-3 years experience of testing communications product that have both an electrical HW and embedded SW content
-demonstrated excellent teamwork skills
Must be able to obtain an US Security Clearance. Someone with an active TS-SCI w/ Poly is GREATLY preferred.
