Computer-Based Training Developer  
Northrop Grumman Technical Services (NGTS) sector is seeking a Computer-Based Training (CBT) Developer responsible for the planning, development, and administration of interactive web-based curriculum and student training records to support the RQ-4 Global Hawk aircrew training program at Beale AFB, California. Primary duty responsibilities for this position include design, programming, storyboard development, and evaluation of interactive web-based lessons using ASP, ActionScript, JavaScript, HTML, XML, audio, video, and database applications for pilot and sensor operator academic training courses. Individual coordinates with the Training Manager, Curriculum Developer, Graphic Artist, Lead CBT Developer, and Subject Matter Expert to plan, prototype, and develop interactive web-based training products using programming logic and the latest development software and methodologies. The CBT Developer utilizes a wide variety of multimedia technologies, including web-based programming tools, data entry portals, and other development applications for the design, production, and implementation phases of self-paced training products and interactive quizzes and test applications to conform to contract and customer training requirements. The developer works closely with instructors and the Air Force community and assumes a key role as database administrator for the classified/non-classified RQ-4 student learning centers. Individual is routinely tasked with MS Access data and program file upload, troubleshooting and content maintenance, file download, and analysis of student training records and related applications. Individual must be a U.S. citizen and be able to hold a Secret security clearance. Candidate must demonstrate proficiency with shared development tools including MS Access, Adobe Flash CS3, MS Office, and related programming and MS IIS web hosting applications, and have experience in creating web-based, computer-based, distance learning, or other instructional training programs. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. Experience may be substituted for education. Employee must be highly independent as an individual contributor as well as comfortable working as part of a team of other curriculum developers, programmers, and graphic artists. Candidate must be able to serve as a database administrator and provide technical support to internal and external customers, and possess the ability to troubleshoot and repair typical problems associated with development tools and applications. Experience with electronic test development strongly desired. Strong communication and presentation skills required. Security Clearance Required.
