| Workstation Controller - AVN |
|
Serve as Army Aviation subject matter expert on a team of contractors supporting the Army's Battle Command Training Program (BCTP). Assist lead analysts and Seminar Support Team chief in the formulation, coordination and execution of BCTP Warfighter Exercise rotations and Battle Command Seminars, as directed. Train military personnel on Corps Battle Simulation (CBS) and Joint Conflict and Tactical Simulation (JCATS) operations and procedures, supervise work cells during BCTP Warfighter Exercises, and enforce realism of exercise play through role playing and conflict adjudication and resolution. Support the After Action Review (AAR) process by communicating significant events to exercise observers and analysts using the Workstation Reporting System (WRS). Develop concepts and write army aviation annexes for military orders used in battle command seminars. Validate and verify simulation databases prior to their use in BCTP exercises. Provide After Action Review input at the conclusion of the exercise. Serve as army aviation subject matter expert on various BCTP rules and workarounds committees. Train and certify newly hired contractor personnel.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Secret Security Clearance. Familiar with and current in U.S. Army and joint doctrine with emphasis in army aviation operations. Familiar with MS Office suite of software. Experience in simulation training, computer war gaming, and simulation programs, particularly the currently-used BCTP simulations is a plus.
EDUCATION:
BS or BA Degree, MEL 4, CGSC equivalent. Related Advanced Course graduate or equivalent. Relocation Assistance Available. Security Clearance Required.
