| Corporate Senior Proposal Manager |
|
PRIMARY FUNCTION(S)
The Senior Proposal Manager's prime responsibility will be to serve as the Odyssey proposal focal point, hence providing a corporate leadership role in the preparation of fully responsive and compliant proposals. Duties include management and facilitation of a multi-disciplined team comprised of Odyssey employees, consultants and subcontractors to produce winning proposals. Individual will report directly to the Director, Corporate Business Development(BD).
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead, develop and/or support all assigned proposal efforts. Sample duties include:
Responsible for following Corporate Quality Management System(QMS) BD Proposal related processes.
Effectively plan and manage the team efforts required to develop proposals including priming, subbing and Task Order opportunities
Recommend and prepare Past Performance References for both prime and subcontractor efforts
Coordinate a proposed technical solution with Subject Matter Experts (SME's)
Develop the Proposal Management Plan and associated strategies:
Facilitate adoption of Win Themes and client hot buttons
Themes and Storyboard Development
Compliance Matrix as appropriate
For smaller proposals, such as Task Orders, the proposal manager may be required to produce proposal sections (other than technical) directly.
Follow the proposal development process, and recommend changes and improvements as appropriate
Analyze Post Delivery and/or Award feedback and recommend improvements to the Proposal Process.
Assist in the maintenance and population of the Corporate Proposal Repository.
Work closely with Site Managers/Project Leaders to ensure that high quality proposals are submitted on time, every time.
Train and mentor Regional Managers, Site Managers, Product Line Managers and Project Leaders in Proposal Management functions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/ Experience:
College graduate or equivalent experience
10 or more years of proposal related experience
Government acquisition and related proposal methodology knowledge
Experience in the Department of Defense(DoD) services sector
Secret clearance

Desktop publishing tools(Microsoft Office, Adobe, Visio, etc.)
Ability to function in a small business environment which requires ability and willingness to work as both manager an contributor as required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Recent experience with services type proposals(Advisory&Assistance Services(A&AS) ,Scientific, Engineering, and Technical Assistance(SETA) at the Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quanity(IDIQ)/Blanket Purchase Agreement(BPA) and Task Order(TO) level for Air Force, Navy or other DoD or Department of Homeland Security(DHS) agencies.
Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint desired
WORKING LOCATIONS & ADDITIONAL INFO
Wakefield, MA- Corporate HQ. Willingness for temporary assignment to field office for a week - 2 weeks, 1-3 times per year.
