| Information Security Engineer |

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Work as a member of the NES team to administer Microsoft Windows-based security tools and systems, in particular McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator 4.0. The candidate will be responsible for creating and troubleshooting policies in an enterprise environment; creating and managing deployment tasks for upgrades and configuration changes; system and application performance/health monitoring; report and query generation; and analysis and resolution of Host Intrusion Prevention events.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate must possess strong oral and written communications skills and be able to work as an integral member of a highly qualified technical team. The candidate should have hands-on, demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2003 Servers, Server Hardware, XP Desktop Operating Systems. The candidate should also have knowledge of local and wide area networking. Knowledge of McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator is desired. Knowledge of other DOD security tools and systems is a plus.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
• MCSA or MCSE Certification highly desirable
• BA/BS College Degree (Information Systems/security or related field) with 2+ years of relevant work experience
• 4+ Years working experience in an IT capacity, with at least 2 years within an IA or information security discipline
**The candidate must have an active DOD SECRET clearance (and clearable to the Top Secret level)
