Systems Engineer
An experienced Systems Engineer (SE) is needed to join a new team responsible for tier 1 architecture engineering and security engineering being formed to support significant program growth for a government customer. The SE will be responsible for end-to-end architectures and defining major program capability enhancements in conjunction with government systems engineers. In addition, the SE will be responsible for coordinating tier 1 customer requirements with various development groups to ensure a smooth transition from tier 1 requirements to development and test. The applicant should have at least 7 years of experience in systems engineering and must be knowledgeable in IP protocols and networking. The applicant must be comfortable in an environment with fluid and/or ill-defined requirements. The applicant must be able to work on and lead cross-organizational teams and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. The candidate must be a US citizen and possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Work location is either Middletown NJ or Columbia MD. The candidate must be willing to travel, primarily between these two locations, as needed.
Desirable: INCOSE certification (e.g., CSEP)
