| Windows Engineer |
|
Required Skills: Windows MSCE (certified W2K, WinXP)
Required Experience:
•Expertise with Microsoft desktop & server operating systems (Windows XP/Vista and 2003/2008).
•Deep technical understanding of Windows infrastructure services (e.g. AD, GPO, CIFS, DFS) within the enterprise.
•Through knowledge of Active Directory Internals. Must know how to fix problems beyond MS built in features.
•Experience managing system and user configuration across large, distributed environments
•Strong troubleshooting mindset (i.e. parsing event log, sysinternals tools, analyzing memory dumps).
•Scripting ability highly desired (whether with PowerShell, WMI, VBScript, etc.).
•Experience with networking configurations and routing technologies. Should know how a network works.
•Experience with enterprise security technologies (i.e. PKI, encryption, NAC/NAP, DLP) is a plus.
•Experience with virtualization technologies (i.e. VMware, XenServer, Citrix) is a plus.
•Ability to write technical and operational management documentation (system design and engineering documents, operational runbooks).
•Experience giving presentations, strong communication skills
