| Engineer 4 - Electromagnetic Effects |
|
Engineer 4, Electromagnetic Effects Engineer (EME). Responsible for leading a team in decomposing system level into box level requirements. Technical liaison Interface with internal and external organizations to develop air vehicle, LRU and harness electromagnetic effects and radiation test requirements. Specify EME program design guidance and coordinate subcontract management test planning with supplier, air vehicle, and test instrumentation. Must have demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining IPT and supplier test specifications, procedures, and test schedules. Will be the lead participate in IPT and Suppliers SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRRs. Develop Pre and Post test briefings demonstrating EME compliance. Participate in CM, MRB and/or FRB test data evaluation and discrepancy resolution. This position is based in Palmdale, CA.
Basic qualification:
BS degree in Electrical Engineering and minimum 9 years of MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-810 or MIL-STD-461 RF test engineering experience. Travel is required. Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications:
MSEE and a minimum of 7 years of directly related experience. Active secret clearance with and SSBI is desired. Relocation Assistance Available. Security Clearance Required.
