Systems Engineer - Advanced Networking  
Contract Assignment- 6-12 months M-F 40 hours Active Security Clearance and or the ability to obtain. MUST be US Citizen

Our client is seeking a qualified systems engineer to work on projects involving development of protocols for routing, mobility, network infrastructure, disruption tolerance, link layer protocols, and network management. The systems engineer will perform systems definition, requirements definition and requirements management, prototyping, network analysis, and trade studies in order to generate and validate protocols, mobility, and the user interface capabilities.

The systems engineer will interface with the customer for the system definition phase, requirements management, and will provide technical support. She or he will be the liaison between the customer and the development team for managing and achieving customer expectations.

Projects will involve diverse technologies and network infrastructures including ad hoc and mobile networks

Successful candidates will be goal oriented and will be capable of developing skills supporting the acquisition of new R&D funding by contributing to proposals and white papers and/or making presentations to customers.

MS in CS/EE

* Knowledge of software engineering lifecycle and OO design and analysis techniques a plus

* Experience in requirements definition and requirements management a plus

* US citizenship is required; ability and willingness to obtain a security clearance is desirable
