The ideal candidates will be skilled in software design, coding, and testing.
Our Cyber Security Business Unit is addressing some of the hardest challenges in computer and network security. Our world-class team of researchers and developers is constantly tackling problems that are considered "too hard" for today's commercial markets. Members of our team perform all functions of the software development life cycle, from brainstorming and system design through testing and delivery. And we have a lot of fun doing it!
We're looking for developers with the following skills:
* Excellent programming skills (particularly C/C++).
* Some experience in designing and developing complex software systems, and performing system test and system integration.
* Familiarity with development systems such as configuration management, bug tracking, and automated build/test.
* BS in Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant field and 0-3 years applicable work experience.
Interest or experience with any of the following areas is also desirable:
* Assembly, Java, Perl, Python.
* Low-level systems development (embedded or real-time), device drivers, OS (kernel) internals, or BIOS development.
* Networking essentials, particularly TCP/IP.
* Security-related disciplines, including: vulnerability assessment, intrusion detection, virtual private networks (VPNs), cryptography, firewalls, and penetration testing.
