Senior Program Management & Operation Analyst  
POSITION DESCRIPTION:

SPARTA presents an outstanding opportunity for performing as Senior Program Analyst within the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Engineering Operations & Management directorate (DEO).

The successful candidate will use experience in a technical field combined with experience in program management or program administration to help DEO fully implement functional management of MDA’s Engineering resources, at policy-level and through specific process disciplines.

The successful candidate will use military, DoD, or corporate-level staff leadership experience to help accomplish DEO’s program goals in the management of budget, personnel, facilities, and contract resources. Specific knowledge in personnel administration is desirable to help develop and implement an Engineering competencies management program for training and certification in defined engineering skill areas, and for collecting and reporting related organizational performance metrics.

The successful candidate will use knowledge and experience in process management as well as strengths in communications to perform staff coordination for DEO in a manner that ensures appropriate collaboration, drives actions toward completion, and keeps customers fully informed.

Finally, the successful candidate will use analytical, organizational, and writing abilities to: a) Collect, compile, and synthesize data as products in written, briefing, and/or spreadsheet formats; b) Review and edit tabular data, written material, and presentation material for integrating customer reports and for publishing them via web-based portals; and c) Produce polished drafts of memoranda, directives, issue summaries, etc.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum of 10-12 years experience in technical field.
- BA/BS in a technical or management field.
- Must demonstrated strengths in use of all MS Office applications and in ability to perform well under the pressure of time.
- Demonstrated ability to orally present complex issues to senior leadership with the effectiveness needed to gain approvals/decisions.
- Active SECRET Clearance
- An advanced degree in engineering management or other management fields is desired.
