| Logistics Engineer |
|
This position primarily assists in assuring projects include effective and efficient Sustainment Strategy, a rapid prototype version of an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Plan. Tasks performed by the logistics team include the development and editing of the Sustainment Strategy, incorporation of the newest Department of Defense and Department of the Army regulatory guidance for Sustainment Strategy to provide full life-cycle support to the units and organizations receiving products, and planning and implementing transfer of sustainment for successful projects to a Program Manager.
In-depth knowledge and experience in US Army Acquisition logistics doctrine, systems, procedures, planning, and implementation.
- Superb oral and written communications skills are a must.
- Skilled in logistical support for New Equipment Training (NET).
- Knowledgeable in property accountability.
- Extensive experience in Property Accountability and knowledge of applicable DoD Regulations
- Experience as Property Book Officer, S4, Supply Officer/NCO, Accountable Officer or other related property accountability job
- Experience in DoD Program Management Offices as the logistics manager is strongly desired.
- Experience at TRADOC and on the Department of the Army or Joint Staffs will be a plus.
- Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office © applications is strongly desired.
- DAWIA Level I or civilian equivalent certification in Acquisition Logistics is highly desired.
