Duties/Responsibilities:
Conduct accurate translations of audio language material and documents in hard copy and electronic formats in a manner that maintains the integrity of the material. Write clear and concise grammar and pronunciation in English. Provide accurate and idiomatic translations of non-technical material using correct syntax and expression from the specific foreign language into English. Provide written translation of general and technical material from the specific foreign language into English. Quickly scan and process a large amount of material in the specific foreign language for critical and essential elements of information defined by the government. Provide input to government counterparts in the production of written reports developed from target material utilizing the specific foreign language, such as provide a gist, summary, transcript or written translation of the material.
Extensive day travel via military aircraft required |
