Description: The BOXCARCURE-- project is tasked to perform the architectual and system design of the next generation of Transcript Services, specifically GISTQUEUE, a large, mission criticial,-- data repository and user interface system.--The selected candidate will be a software-- designer and developer. The selected individual will be responsible for determining system and software requirements, system design and system software design.
Requirements
At least five years experience as a software engineer supporting software design, implementation, deployment and software product integration. At least five years experience in developing software for a relational database system. At least five years experience developing software in a Unix environment (Solaris preferred). Experience with customer's mission data. At least five years experience writing software in Perl. At least two years of-- experience writing SQL. At least two years experience with configuration management tools (preferrably ClearCase and ClearQuest). At least two years experience working in an integrated development environment (preferrably Eclipse or JBuilder).
Assets: Java programming experience. Unix Shell script experience. |
